Objective
The idea for this student housing project was to create a memorable identity with strong visual cues addressing the railway corridor. It is a building designed to be viewed fleetingly by passengers in the passing trains and also to signal the approaching station for passengers in westbound trains. The building is designed to be constructed with textured pre-cast concrete panels with metal bay windows. Following development consent, the scheme was put on hold due to the anticipated up-zoning of the land as part of the government’s urban corridor strategy.
