Kewarra Aged Care
Status: Proposal
Objective
The provision of a luxury residential aged care facility with a resort atmosphere set in the north Queensland rainforest. The design of the building is reminiscent of traditional Queensland architecture, with large screened verandas providing individual extensions to each room.
Outcome
- 90 bed facility configured as six 15-bed houses
- Integrated within the Kewarra Resort Retirement Village
- Courtyard configuration with dementia garden
- High care service capacity
- Luxury rooms of 40sqm each
