Forest Beach Retirement Village

Objective
Design of an Anglican Retirement Village at Bulli to enhance the sense of community. The site is situated adjacent to an indigenous turpentine forest and wetland which requires minimum disturbance.
Outcome
- Identifying 3 distinct habitable precincts
- A sheltered public realm
- Providing a built environment and ecosystem in harmony
- Maintaining the edges of the forest, creek & wetland ecosystem is reinforced by a clearly defined and robust interface giving emphasis to built elements and natural environment
- 240 ILU’s with Wellness Centre, Function Centre and Aged Care Facility
