Student Accommodation Kensington

The design proposal is a 48-room Student Accommodation project for a site on Anzac Parade Kensington. The scheme provides a café and minimal parking at ground floor, with rooms on the upper floors built using a precast concrete panel system with balcony balustrades of folded, perforated and heat-treated stainless steel. Internal finishes throughout the upper floors are robust and simple, using rubber floor surfaces for both the habitable areas and the bathrooms, with raw concrete internal finishes to the walls. The project is currently on hold pending the outcome of major planning changes to the Anzac Parade corridor.
